(TSX-V: SBM) (FSE: ZSB) (OTC: SRBCF) has signed a manufacturing agreement with Wuxi AppTec to produce its revolutionary anti-aging / anti-wrinkle compound, TFC-1326. The small-scale production of the compound will be the first step in the implementation of clinical trials for the powerful active ingredient, which has been shown to be effective in reversing the aging effects on the skin.
The company and the team of scientists at its wholly-owned subsidiary TFChem have spent years developing TFC-1326, which has shown immense potential in eliminating fine wrinkles. Sirona Biochem CEO Dr. Howard Verrico said TFC-1326 offers results that all other anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products are incapable of replicating. He added that the company's compound reverses age-related damage to the skin, thereby returning its youthful appearance.
Verrico said the goal of the clinical trials is to demonstrate the potential of TFC-1326 and its ability to treat age-damaged skin. He claimed that the compound might be a good replacement or a supplemental treatment to dermal filler injections such as BOTOX®.
The announcement came days after Sirona Biochem had signed a global exclusive licensing agreement with AbbVie's Allergan Aesthetics for its breakthrough TFC-1326 skincare compound. The company said it is now also actively pursuing another lucrative licensing agreement for its anti-aging product.
